Who are We?
Raiden's Realm is a community tech site dedicated to helping people learn about Linux, BSD, and open source software. We strive to provide you with the best information possible to help you make the switch to a more user friendly and fun computing experience. We're also strong supporters of the principles of software freedom. However, we're not your typical Open Source tech site. We're a fun and friendly site that welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
You don't need to be a Linux guru to be a part of The Realm. Everyone from beginners, to PC and Linux pros are equally welcome here. And unlike other sites, we don't have a select handful of people who do everything. Instead, since we are a site that supports the principles of Open Source, we rely on you, the reader, and our members, for much of our content, features, the great support we provide users in our forums.
So if you're new here, stick around, because we try to provide a little bit of everything for everyone. And who knows. You might learn something fun and interesting while you're here, or you might even be able to provide just the bit of help someone's been looking for.
